The Aircraft Operations team is responsible for defining and predicting the way in which aircraft airframes and systems in development will be operated by airlines. We have a particular focus on ensuring that an aircraft, through engineering, continues to be operable and mature throughout its lifecycle. Every day in our team is interesting and challenging.
Our work covers aspects such as daily aircraft inspections through to heavy maintenance at Maintenance and Repair Organisations and assessing the technologies that will be needed to improve these aspects for airlines. To do this we measure how usable, reliable, available and cost effective an aircraft is at achieving these metrics today and in the future. This analysis is often undertaken via usage of our big data platform. We are a transnational and diverse team working closely with aircraft programmes, specialist design teams and customer services on a daily basis.
