The Programme Management Office (PMO) for the Hydrogen for Mobility organisation (H2fM) is responsible for advancing the initiatives that promote business growth. This involves planning and implementing a project management framework to structure business actions related to key projects. It also includes progress/status tracking, risk and issue analysis, strategy development, support for funding applications, development of internal team dynamics, managing engineering/business interfaces, and more. The PMO coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that the H2fM business achieves its ambitious growth targets by collaborating with almost every function within Air Products.

They must be a motivated self-starter who can drive projects and tasks to completion, working with various functions and key stakeholders to find the best solutions.

As a member of the European H2fM team, the CDP will contribute to shaping the future of Air Products.

They will work with marketing and business teams in various sub-regions, as well as connect with Project Delivery groups, to promote critical, high-value, and innovative projects for the H2fM business.

The CDP may also support the commercial team in new business development and lead generation.

Objectives of the role – Accountabilities

A PMO coordinator is required to ensure the support is available to grow the H2fM organisation. The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of activities as part of the team, including tracking updates on the Immingham and Rotterdam business working groups to ensure activities remain on track.

  • Develop mitigations to bring activities back on track when they are off-track and report exceptions;
  • Manage small projects such as funding applications and equipment procurement;
  • Establish alignments with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution;
  • Map business processes, including EARs, project setup, and purchasing, to optimise our business speed and self-confidence.
  • Justifying adaptations to business processes to meet the 'Speed' culture required within H2fM to deliver customer benefits. Tracking cost centres, SE, and project costs using SAP and other tools.
  • Keeping Sharesite up to date and adding new content
  • Enhancing communication across the H2fM organization
