Our London Finance team primarily specialises in financial due diligence for M&A (for private equity and corporates), carve-outs valuations and damages assessments, as well as engaging in cross-border projects to help deliver Accuracy’s full service offering.
About the role
As an Intern, you'll work alongside Analysts on presentations for professional investors, major corporations, lawyers, and tribunals, while receiving additional support to help you quickly gain relevant experience.
We provide comprehensive on-the-job training to our interns with the goal of building a lasting relationship and bringing them on board full-time. Our mentoring programme and regular one-to-ones with management help maintain an open dialogue with junior Accuracians, extending feedback and career advice. Accuracy's global staffing model provides a chance to work on cross-border projects with our international colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of financial statements and management accounts to identify trends
- Helping build and maintain financial models
- Drafting due diligence and dispute reports and presenting your analysis outputs
- Contributing to business development through client proposals and market research
- Supporting internal initiatives like employee engagement, events, and recruitment
Required skills
- Genuine interest in problem solving, financial analysis and corporate finance
- Numerical and analytical skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office and other programming skills are advantageous
- Humility, curiosity, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and work in a team
- Our internships are for students looking to gain work experience over the summer or as part of their course, as well as graduates with <3 months finance work experience.
