About the Speaker

Thomas Leitch is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Monzo Bank since April 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing engineering teams and driving initiatives to enhance user experience. Prior to Monzo, Thomas held the position of Director of Engineering at Deliveroo, focusing on delivery logistics, pricing, and merchandising algorithms. Thomas also led significant projects at Twitter as a Senior Engineering Manager and as Head of Development at Press Association, where successful implementations improved content management and software delivery. Earlier experiences include roles at British Council, BBC World Service, and BBC, contributing to software engineering and team leadership across various technology-focused projects.
