Why should you join WTW in...

Reigate

WTW's offices in Reigate offer you the opportunity to work with some of the largest and most prestigious clients in the industry, all whilst enjoying a great work/life balance. Reigate is a peaceful town, away from the hustle and bustle of the city; but if you’re keen to go into the city, no problem – it’s only a 45-minute train ride into central London.

Here, you'll work in a bright and agile environment that offers you the chance to attend (or organize yourself) lots of social events: summer events, Christmas parties, monthly get-togethers, team socials, football or squash leagues and quizzes. Have lunch with your colleagues at the on-site restaurant, go for a walk in one of the parks or why not visit your favourites – Pizza Express, Everyman Cinema, M&S, Boots – all within walking distance from work.

London

Work in the capital - the home of business, finance, and insurance. WTW’s London office is right in the heart of the City, full of incredible opportunities to advance your career. With countless places to eat, drink and relax, secure a brilliant London career with us. Our office also has an on-site gym and lots of different running clubs and exercise classes, so you have the chance to be active while working.

Experience a diversity of backgrounds and experiences, and work in a place that’s full of opportunity – we have lots of streams in London so you can find the right career that’s suited for you.

Ipswich

Working in Ipswich provides you with an amazing team, clients, career opportunities and a great way of life. The town was voted the 7th most desirable place to live and work in England and has been rated as the 3rd happiest place to live in the UK – a perfect place to start your career with WTW. What’s more – the Willis Building in Ipswich is a famous landmark with a rich history and open days where tourists can visit.

When you’re not working, you can experience the culture with your friends and colleagues by visiting prominent museums, galleries, and the Ipswich Arts Festival, a free celebration of the arts in the famous Christchurch Park.

If you decide to go to Ipswich, we recommend you go to the waterfront, historically the most important waterfront in the UK, and soak up the picturesque setting whilst eating or drinking at one of the quaint sea-side pubs or restaurants.

Cambridge

Join WTW’s offices in Cambridge for a breath of fresh air and a cheap, active commute to work. With everything in the city being accessible, you can walk, cycle or drive without a stressful rush hour commute. On top of this, you’ll be a part of a town that’s renowned for its beauty and historical significance.

Cambridge is well-known for its thriving economy and strength in business. Here, you will work in a great environment whilst also taking advantage of the many shops, both high street and independent, restaurants, tranquil river, and the famous university. If you want to apply to our tech streams, then Cambridge is the perfect place – it’s been coined as another Silicon Valley.

Our most recommended activities in Cambridge are: to visit Market Square for some vintage gems or to go punting on the River Cam (when the weather allows it!).

Leeds

First of all, Leeds is not only the third biggest city in the UK, it’s also the fastest growing, estimated to grow by 21% over the next 10 years. Secondly, the economy of Leeds is worth nearly £64 billion, so this is the ideal place to launch your successful career with us.

If you’re looking for a big city lifestyle with affordable prices, housing and a reasonable commute to and from work, Leeds is the place for you. Also, finance is an integral sector in this town, so you can do important work in a thriving environment.

Enjoy a great work-life balance by shopping in the rustic arcades, taking a walk around Roundhay Park, or immersing yourself in the culture of the vibrant Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen.

We recommend that you go to The Corn Exchange in Leeds – a magnificent Victorian building that contains a variety of indie shops, boutiques and food spots.

Birmingham

In WTW’s Birmingham office, you can immerse yourself in the second-largest city in the UK and the social, cultural and financial centre of the East and West Midlands. Here you can experience the big city life of London without the traffic or train cancellations – despite having one of the UK’s largest populations, Birmingham has the least congestion for public transport.

Birmingham has everything you need: amazing venues for music and entertainment, such as the Hippodrome, numerous shopping centres and an array of restaurants to suit all tastes. We strongly recommend that you take a walk through the beautiful Botanical Gardens and, if you’re hungry, eat at one of their many Michelin-starred restaurants – Birmingham has more Michelin-starred restaurants than any other city outside the capital.

Bristol

Bristol is a fantastic place to live and work – it was voted as the ‘best place to live in the UK’ by the Sunday Times in 2017. Join WTW’s office in this dynamic city and work in a positive, innovative environment, with access to some of the most exciting clients.

A hub of culture, business and talent, this is the ideal spot for an ambitious young professional like yourself. In your free time, you can walk across the Clifton Suspension Bridge, explore the lovely greenery, or go to one of the many festivals the city has to offer, such as Love Saves the Day and Balloon Fiesta.

If you’re sporty and active, we recommend you get a bike as Bristolians love to cycle, or if you enjoy relaxing, go to Lido, a spa, which has a beautiful swimming pool, saunas, and a luxurious restaurant.

Manchester

Working in WTW’s offices in Manchester is a great step forward in your career: it is the fastest economically growing city in the UK and a place where you’ll gain invaluable experience. Recently, Manchester has seen big growth in the financial sector, and so is a perfect place to start your career with Willis.

Manchester is an iconic city, filled to the brim with an inspiring music scene, famous shopping centres such as The Trafford Centre, amazing architecture, and two great football teams.

We recommend visiting Chetham’s Library, the oldest public library in the English-speaking world – a historic gem.

Edinburgh

Start your WTW career in Scotland’s wonderful, hilly capital. If you’re looking for a dynamic, fast-growing working environment, Edinburgh is ideal. The city hosts thriving industries and offices, including Willis Towers Watson’s.

Edinburgh is also filled with nature and culture: spend your weekends visiting the spectacular Edinburgh Castle or take a hike up Arthur’s Seat, an extinct volcano which is considered the main peak of the hills in the city.

Our recommendation for you is to go to Edinburgh Fringe, the world’s largest arts festival.
