Hi, I’m Shivam, an Industrial Placement Student within HRIS (Human Resource Information System). As a part of the HRIS team, I solve cases raised by stakeholders, which includes providing various reports and updating information on Workday. I also support the HRIS team during year-end processes and compensation cycle testing.
What is it like to work at Vertex?

Don't hesitate to apply for a placement even if you don't have any experience. You will be provided with all the training and support you need to be successful in your role. Also, be clear why you want to join Vertex and the role you are applying for.

What’s next for your career?
After finishing my Placement Year with Vertex, I will go back to university to finish my third year in Human Resource Management. After graduation, I will look for a role in the people experience team at Vertex. As a second option, I will apply for graduate jobs within technical HR areas.
