We caught up with James, a Graduate Analyst at Rothschild & Co to find out more about what he gets up to in a "normal" day. He discusses their gradute programmes, company culture and how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted his work at Rothschild.

“I’m an Analyst in Global Advisory’s Consumer, Retail & Leisure team, where I focus on Sports advisory. Whilst COVID-19 has kept us socially distant (and live sport on hold), it’s extremely important for us to be present for our clients to support them through these unprecedented economic times, as well as helping them see through the turbulence to identify potential strategic opportunities.
As a relatively recent graduate, it’s been fantastic to work hand in hand with the companies, clubs and organisations I admire, on projects which are often transformational for their businesses and industries. In my spare time, I’m passionate about boxing, both as a participant and a fan. I also love classical music and playing the violin and guitar, which my neighbours have graciously tolerated throughout lockdown!”
