Rob has worked a happy nine years with MRI Software after strating out on the firm's gradaute scheme. Here he recounts his journey and tells us what's great about working there.
"Initially I saw the vacancy advertised on a careers advice service where I was studying at the University of Kent. During the recruitment process, what stood out to me most about MRI Software was the informal nature of the assessment centre, and the very friendly and non-corporate atmosphere within the company. It felt like a great environment to work in and the Graduate Developer role interested me because there would be a mix of both technical and customer facing responsibilities.
During the recruitment process we were given a lot of background information about the company and also had the opportunity to speak to some recent graduate joiners - this gave me the chance to see if MRI Software was the right fit. In addition there were a couple of tests including a challenging logic test and a group activity.
I’ve worked with the company for nine years since joining as a graduate and I think that’s mainly down to the people working here. Everyone is very knowledgeable within their roles but also very approachable and helpful. I’ve also enjoyed being able to move around through the different departments and learn a range of different technologies."
