Graduates
Finished university and looking for the next step? Our seven graduate schemes give you first-hand, and first-class, experience in the world of insurance.
Our graduate opportunities
For 2025, we are running eight core programmes for graduates: Business, Insurance, Internal Audit, Actuarial, Tax, Member Services, Finance and Markets. The programmes are designed to give you an encompassing range of experiences to discover your strengths and interests. Equipped with those insights, you’ll be able to choose your professional path and achieve your aspirations.
To take part in our graduate programmes, you are required to have a 2:2 minimum degree (or equivalent) in any subject. Please note that we will only consider one application per person for each season.
Apprentices

Our apprenticeship programmes
The Lloyd's Apprenticeship Programme is an exciting alternative for those who don’t wish to go to university. In 2025, we are running three schemes: Insurance, Business and HR.
To take part in our apprentice programmes, you are required to have A Levels or equivalent (Grade C or above) and GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or above).
Insights Week
Want to explore the insurance industry for yourself? Find out more about Lloyd’s Insights Week.
About the programme
Join colleagues from across Lloyds and WTW for a week of face-to-face workshops and networking, delving into the insurance industry. We deliver the programme in partnership with the ‘Step Up with WTW’ programme.
The programmes are aimed at GCSE and A-Level students, to experience the working environment of two global businesses throughout the week, gaining an insight into career opportunities within Lloyd’s and WTW.
Please note, the Insight Week and ‘Step Up with WTW’ will take place in London and attendance is mandatory for the four days. You must be able to travel into London as we do not provide accommodation expenses.
What's involved?
During the week you will undertake a number of workshops, including:
- Introduction to the Insurance industry
- Personal development workshops
- Introduction to Broking and Underwriting
- Meet our current graduates and apprentices
- Introduction to data
- CV and interview hints and tips
What do we look for?
We are looking for those who are curious about our organisation and future opportunities with us. Here at Lloyd's, we take a strengths-based approach to assessment. We want to explore what stimulates and inspires you, instead of placing too much emphasis on what experience you may already have.
Essentially, we want you to be your authentic self! Navigate through our assessment process honestly and authentically, this is the best way to show us your potential and ability.
