Blick Rothenberg is committed to creating a workplace founded on inclusion, which unlocks the talent within our workforce
We value each unique perspective that individuals in our team bring and this is reflected in our ability to attract people from a range of dynamic backgrounds, helping us to deliver excellence of service the world over
What makes us different?
One of the true differentiators of Blick Rothenberg from our competitors has always been our culture and work ethos – both in terms of how we operate as a firm and how we interact with our clients.
We have a nurturing culture which cares for its people, and we create a working environment in which our team can develop and flourish.
This nurturing ethos, together with a commitment to transparency and a common purpose, is also reflected in the way that we work with clients.
We know that great relationships yield the best outcomes. That is why we take time to understand our clients’ needs and invest in our working relationships together, so that we can deliver a solution-oriented approach.
To preserve this winning formula and pass it on to new joiners to the firm, we have articulated the cultural values that we live and breathe each day.
Uniquely diverse
Inclusion and diversity are strategic priorities for Blick Rothenberg
Blick Rothenberg embraces diversity as a strategic imperative. Our firm’s commitment to inclusion and diversity stems from our European heritage, which has shaped our rich and dynamic team.
We are dedicated to cultivating a workplace environment rooted in inclusivity, unlocking the full potential of our talented workforce.
Our vision is to enhance diversity across all levels within our organization by fostering a culture of genuine inclusiveness. We strive to create an environment where every individual can thrive, fulfill their potential, and feel a sense of belonging. Additionally, we aim to reflect the vibrant communities we serve.
At Blick Rothenberg, our employee resource groups play a pivotal role in promoting a more inclusive culture. Through these groups, we facilitate open dialogues, foster understanding, and celebrate the diverse perspectives that enrich our firm.
Our employee resource groups
BRidge
Blick Rothenberg’s inclusive disability group for employees
The aim of the BRidge (Blick Rothenberg’s Inclusive Disability Group for Employees) network will be to increase awareness and foster wider understanding of the issues affecting those with visible and non-visible disabilities, medical and mental health conditions.
The network intends to positively impact the life experiences of people with disabilities by influencing Blick Rothenberg’s approach to attraction, recruitment and retention. The network is open to all, whether you have a disability, care for someone with a disability or if you simply want to be an ally or learn more.
emBRace
Blick Rothenberg’s network that represents and values the views of our Black and ethnic minority colleagues
The network was started in August 2021, and it began as an opportunity for colleagues from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds to come together to discuss their lived experiences.
We all have colleagues and friends who come from different backgrounds and cultural heritage. EmBRace has been created to help give our people the confidence to bring their whole selves to work, where together we can celebrate what makes us different and apply our uniqueness to stand out as a service provider.
Anyone is welcome to join our community. We offer a safe space for open discussions to help improve the quality of our experience both in the workplace and outside.
Blick Rothenberg also marks events like Black History Month. This year our emBRace Network talked to barrister, Winsome Levy, about her experiences of working in the legal sector.
Rainbow Network
The Rainbow Network supports Blick Rothenberg's LGBT people and allies
Blick Rothenberg’s employee resource group for LGBT individuals and those who don’t identify as such but are interested in supporting or learning more.
We work year-round to provide a safe space for our colleagues, create networking opportunities, raising awareness of key issues, and feeding back into the firms wider D&I initiatives.
Core to our values is celebrating individuality and fostering a culture of trust and inclusion, whether that be with the colleagues we work with, the clients we act for, or the communities we live amongst. To help us do this, we are members of Stonewall, who support us in delivering our priorities to become an LGBT+ inclusive organisation.
We also work with organisations like Global Butterflies who have helped us become more trans aware and inclusive; and Nexus which connects LGBT+ employee network leaders, sponsors and chairs to share best practice and strategies.
Women's Network
Supporting the attraction, empowerment, progression, and retention of all women at Blick Rothenberg
Blick Rothenberg’s Women’s Network exists to support the attraction and recruitment of women at all levels of the firm and ensure we are seen as an employer of choice for women. Gender equality is a critical part of ensuring our long-term sustainable growth.
We also help women establish relationships and build networks through mentoring to support their professional growth and career development within the firm.
The Network also provides input into the firm’s policies regarding their impact on women and, as appropriate, to suggest new or amended policies or practices that would improve the lives of working women in the firm.
