"What excites me most is the day-to-day variety—one day I’m in meetings with marketing, and the next I’m in the factory running experiments. It’s great to work in such an inclusive and dynamic environment."
What is your role?
I am an R&D product developer working on potato crisps and tortilla chips, focusing on well-loved brands like Walkers and Doritos. The projects I work on cover areas such as quality, innovation, and reformulating recipes. I have been at PepsiCo for 2 years now—one of those years was during a placement year between my 2nd and 3rd years of university.
I am an expat from Singapore and came to the UK to pursue my undergraduate studies in Food Science with Business at the University of Reading. I enjoy hiking and love living close to the Peak District!
Tell us about your experience at PepsiCo.
PepsiCo embraces diversity and offers opportunities to work with people from various backgrounds. It’s a dynamic environment where no two days are alike. Whether I’m in meetings with marketing or conducting experiments in a factory, the work is always engaging. As an expat, it’s been wonderful to be part of an inclusive community where differences are celebrated. I’ve even joined the PepsiCo Asian Network, where we celebrate cultural events like Chinese New Year and Diwali.
