What is your role and how long have you been at Accenture?

I’ve been at Accenture for 1 year and 7 months as part of the Technology Sector, aligned to the Birmingham office.

My current role is a hybrid one as a project manager and Business Intelligence analyst in the public sector practice.

What do you find most interesting with the sector/industry you’re in?

What interests me most about the industry is its rapid evolution, driven by innovation and the need to stay ahead. This creates an exciting environment where I can work on cutting-edge projects and solve complex business problems.

The Birmingham office is such a close-knit environment where we have a lot of engagement sessions, events and socials organised in the office.

This gives an opportunity to network and mingle with your colleagues.

This also gives a sense of belonging and drives unity and collaboration across the community which makes you feel a part of something.

Particularly in the Birmingham office, we just celebrated the Chinese New year.

Diversity and inclusion is important because it encourages innovation, creativity, and better decision-making in organisations.

When teams include people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, they bring a wider range of ideas and perspectives, leading to more innovative solutions and business success.

An inclusive culture ensures that all employees feel valued and empowered to contribute their best work, which boosts morale and productivity.

It is essential for social justice and equality, helping to break down systemic barriers and create a fairer working environment.

Finally, any tips for anyone who’d like to apply for a role at Accenture?
