Lifestyle benefits

Annual Leave

We think having time off to fully rest and recharge is essential. That’s why we have a comprehensive benefits offering which includes;

  • 25 days holiday
  • An additional day each year to celebrate your birthday however you choose.
  • An additional day’s holiday each year after 3 year’s service (up to a maximum of 30 days)

Please note our holiday year runs from 1st January to 31st December.

Sabbatical

As a way of saying thank you and recognising hard work and commitment, after 5 years continuous service you can take an 8-week sabbatical half of which is fully paid.

Hybrid Working

Although the office is open and accessible five days a week, we also offer hybrid working to support flexible working.

Individuals should spend a minimum of 60-80% of time in the office (including a Monday and/or Friday), meaning 20-40% of time can be worked remotely (home).

To ensure hybrid working remains successful and sustainable we encourage everyone to consider some key principles such as trust & output, team contracting, inclusivity & belonging and connection and collaboration.

Work from anywhere

One week per calendar year, within a 4-hour time zone

Bank Holiday Swap

Swap 3 bank holidays per calendar year (Easter or Christmas) for another religious day of celebration

Cycle to Work Scheme

C2W is a Government initiative to get people to purchase bicycles and equipment using 2 financial incentives:

  • The cost is treated as tax/NI deductible. This is done (as per pensions) through a salary sacrifice/exchange. This creates a discount ranging from 32% up to a possible 47% depending on your income tax rate.
  • Financing is provided by a loan from your employer which can be repaid over a period of up to 24 months.

The only caveat is that for a fixed period, usually around 5 years the bike is the property of the employer. Some of this tax advantage is lost if you leave before this period. At the end of the period, ownership of the bike is transferred to the employee for a nominal fee.

Further information on the scheme can be found on the Hub.
