The continued growth and development of all our colleagues across the business is a top priority. Rather than an isolated one-off training session, we consider development to be a continuous journey that focusses on three areas:
- Experience: On-the-job experiences that help us grow (e.g., new or stretch tasks, different client work, line management or mentoring others, etc)
- Exposure: Learning through observation (e.g., working closely with a more experienced colleague, seeking feedback, shadowing, networking, etc.)
- Education: Structured learning (e.g., training courses, books, conferences etc)
All of our new graduates will embark on a 12-month structured development programme, supporting a portfolio of client accounts whilst also benefiting from internal and external training programmes.
From day one, our comprehensive onboarding programme ensures everyone is set up for success. We run regular 30 minute bitesize lunch sessions to share internal knowledge and expertise across the wider business.
Our career reviews take place twice a year and ensures everyone has a career development plan in place which is individually driven but supported by line managers and the wider business.
Continuous feedback is encouraged to expedite personal growth and our competency framework helps our teams to understand the skills and behaviours required for progression, whether that’s laterally or vertically.
