We're restarting our popular 'How to...' event series, but this time virtually! We're kicking off with: How to get into commercial law, on Thursday 7th May 3:30-5pm, with more sectors to follow. 

About the event

Our How to get into commercial law events are some of our most popular, and aim to give you the insights you need to help you with your Training Contract, and Vacation Scheme applications. We'll be hearing from Bright Network alumni who have secured training contracts at world-leading law firms, to give you the inside scoop on the application process, and life working within top companies.

You'll also have access to a skills session delivered by former Freshfields lawyer and careers expert Jake Schogger, as well as an update on how the law sector is responding to the COVID-19 situation, from our very own Ben Triggs. 

Agenda:

  • 3:30-3:45: Welcome and insights into how the legal sector is responding to COVID-19
  • 3:45-4:15: Skills session delivered by graduate careers coach and ex-Freshfields solicitor, Jake Schogger
  • 4:15-5:00: Alumni panel session, including Macfarlanes, Herbert Smith Freehills, Baker McKenzie

This event is fantastic opportunity to learn about a career in law, as well as a chance to build your network with like minded peers who are interested in a similar profession.
