About this opportunity
The Commercial Graduate Programme is housed in the Pernod Ricard UK (PRUK) business where our diverse population of 300+ passionate employees have been creating conviviality since 2001.
Within our commercial team, we sell our brands specifically to the “On Trade” which consists of over 120,000 licensed premises (Bar, Pubs, Restaurants, Nightclubs). The UK On Trade is an exceptionally vibrant industry in which to work and engage consumers and for Pernod Ricard UK, it is an important contributor of profit, as well as building the equity of our brands with consumers.
For the first 6 months, you will be responsible for achieving key Field Sales objectives in your territory. For the second half of the programme, you will complete two placements within our broader sales and marketing functions.
The programme lasts 12 months but you can progress into a full-time position in our commercial function, within the field sales team.
Join us and you could be responsible for
- Developing a face-to-face relationship at management level with up to 200 venues.
- Using selling tools to drive distribution of our products at outlet level by gaining listings of PRUK brands within seasonal times of year; I.E. Christmas & St Patrick’s Day
- Gaining visibility of our brands and drinks at outlet level, such as an Absolut Vanilia & Kahlua feature in an Expresso Martini on a cocktail menu, through use of selling tools
- Making valuable contributions to the wider business through two 12 week placements within our Commercial & Marketing teams

What do we require
You will need to be available to start your programme on September 16th 2024 with a degree in any subject area and a full UK driving licence. You should be flexible in where you are based within the UK for the duration of the programme, and future roles. We also want to see strong demonstration of our Leadership Attributes during the interview process.
