Overview

To act as an Account Executive in the best interests of the company. This role will be responsible for servicing accounts in an efficient manner. Servicing Real Estate accounts for AJG clients in an efficient manner within the renewals lifecycle process. Supports the Associate Directors, Senior Account Executives, Producers and Brokers, meeting client demands and needs in order to achieve optimum profitable renewal retention rate and growth.

How you'll make an impact

  • Assist in renewal process, preparation of submission and the gathering of information
  • Obtain renewal terms for customers and identify potential alternative quotations before producing presentations for account managers to discuss with customers
  • Prepare documentation for existing customers in relation to renewals and mid-term adjustments in partnership with management
  • Follow up on new and existing renewal business quotations and lend support to Brokers
  • Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately and entered onto system in a timely fashion
  • Under supervision, prepare renewal closings from renewal meeting minutes and ensure cover bound by renewal date
  • Assist in the RFP process as directed by senior team members
  • Deal with Insurer queries in relation to customer policies
  • Assist with customer queries relating to existing policies and liaise with insurers regarding potential changes and new terms for policies
  • Confirm cover with relevant insurers, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation when required
  • Secure delivery of policy documentation from Insurers and check prior to approval and release by Account Executive
  • Manage accounts and process payments by deliverable dates
  • Deal with account queries and credit control matters, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and any concerns are raised
  • Deal with general account queries, and ensure that they are resolved efficiently
  • Perform miscellaneous office duties in support of account servicing
  • Manage own workload in order to effectively service the client relationship and ensure placements are completed within client deadlines
  • Comply with AJG Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements for the role with specific attention, but not limited to Managing Client information, Whistle Blowing, Treating Customers Fairly

About you

  • Knowledge of general insurance (London Market / Lloyd’s and Industry) products, services, classes of insurance including underlying legal principles and practices relating to risk within own role capacity
  • Demonstrable previous experience in a client servicing role relating to commercial property or real estate
  • Followed instruction with efficiency working to TOM (Target Operating Model) targets
  • Demonstrated rapport-building experience with colleagues
  • Evidence of effectively prioritising risks to manage concurrent workflow
  • Due diligence in administration and policy checks/processes
  • Good knowledge of client market and insurance industry network
  • Able to quickly grasp and interpret salient information
  • Worked to deadlines and able to anticipate change
  • Good client service focus
  • Able to identify potential risks/issues and seek advice/consultation when required
